TERMS OF SERVICE

Reclaimed Lumber Sales Policy:
Payment will be due in full at time of order for material or prep of material.  Installation services will be charged a 50% deposit with balance due at completion of project.  For all install pricing, please contact our showroom. Any outstanding installation/delivery balance is subject to 5% fee per month on the unpaid balance beginning fifteen (15) days post delivery date. Material may be held in T&B holding yard/shop for up to thirty (30) days post final sale and/or completion date. Past 30 days items are then subject to a service charge of 10% per month on the total, and shipment or pick up will be delayed until full payment is received.   Any material left with T&B over 6 months becomes property of T&B with no reimbursement. 

Pricing listed above does not include taxes, unless otherwise stated. 

All credit card transactions will be charged a convenience fee of 3.5% of total.

Customer is responsible for all thermal barriers; i.e. sheetrock, plywood, etc.

Customer shall discharge and save Timber & Beam harmless of any liens or encumbrances against land, buildings or chattels in connection with the goods and services supplied.

Customer is responsible for all load bearing elements of the described design and described installation elements.

Reclaimed wood is a natural material, therefore, all material is sold as is. All sales are final.

Orders cancelled by customer prior to shipment will result in a 60% restocking fee. 

All material can be treated with a pest countermeasure at an additional cost. Unless otherwise noted, no material is kiln dried or fumigated.  Seller is not responsible for providing fumigation. Any issues arising during transport regarding fumigation are the responsibility of Buyer. In no event shall seller be liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the use of any of the goods.  

Normal lead times for products purchased are typically 3-6 weeks, but can be longer depending on products ordered.  Once we are close to completion of your order, we will contact you to arrange shipment.  

Timber & Beam will package your order according to the contents ordered, method of freight and distance of travel to ensure that it arrives safely.  If special arrangements are needed with shipping or delivery, please let us know as far in advance as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Upon delivery, customer is responsible for unloading the order.

All deliveries are curbside deliveries and delivery drivers are unable to enter your home.

If curbside delivery is unavailable in your area, customer will be asked to pick up the items at the trucking terminal.

At the time order is delivered, customer MUST check for damages and/or missing items, and note that accordingly on the bill of lading.

If no damages are noted on the bill of lading, Timber & Beam cannot be held responsible for any damages or shortages that occur.  Please contact our sales team right away and we will be happy to assist you.
The quote you accept is directly transformed into the work order that is used to manufacture the order. Please carefully review the information specified on the quote prior to its acceptance. Once a quote is accepted and submitted to an order the products shipped will be in accordance with the information provided on the quote.

REFUND POLICIES

MERCHANDISE ITEMS RETURN POLICY:
Refunds will be within 30 days of delivery of retail merchandise and proof of purchase is required for Timber & Beam to process any return. Custom orders are final.  Items will only be returned once inspected and found in the same condition as it was sold.  Refunds will be issued for the purchase price only. Shipping charges are non-refundable with the exception of damaged merchandise.

When returning a shipped item, please contact us with your order number and and we will further instruct you on the process. Please pack your item securely and retain your shipping receipt for your records. Once your return is received, the refund will be processed, assuming there are no damages.
 
CANCELLATION OF FURNITURE ORDERS
All furniture sales are a custom built item and therefore will be charged a 20% restocking fee within the first 10 days of purchase.  Anything past the first 10 days of purchase will be final. 

EXCHANGES
Exchanges can be made for different sizes of t-shirts and if you are not local, customer will be responsible for shipping costs both ways.  In order to process an exchange, contact us with your request and order number.
For all other exchanges, please contact us to return your item and then place a new order for the item you’d like in exchange.

FINAL SALE & CLEARANCE ITEMS
Clearance items purchased are considered final sale and are non-returnable and non-refundable.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

SECTION 7 - COOKIES
Here is a list of cookies that we use. We’ve listed them here so you that you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.

 _session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).

 _shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits

 _shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day,

Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.

 _secure_session_id, unique token, sessional

 storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

SECTION 8 - AGE OF CONSENT
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
