THE PUNXSUTAWNEY BARN, PENNSYLVANIA

White Pine / 1861 – 2013

The Story of Punxsutawney. If Punxsutawney sounds familiar to you, it should. It’s home to the world’s most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, who predicts the coming (or not) of spring every year. This small town of around 5,600 people is also home to a majestic barn built in 1861 and preserved by Timber & Beam.

The barn’s antique white pine panels and beams showcase its craftsmanship from 150+ years ago, and offers ample opportunities for repurposing and preservation.
